Dumpling Wrappers
Ingredients:
About 25ish wrappers
250 g of white all-purpose flour
130 g of hot water (just as hot as your tap can get)
Instructions:
Knead together for a couple of minutes.
Rest in a bowl covered with a tea towel/cloth for 15 mins.
Dust your working surface with a very light bit of flour, and knead dough until smooth.
Rest in a bowl covered with a tea towel/cloth for 1 hour.
Clean your surface and dust again, with a very light bit of flour. Cut your dough into 4 equal parts. Work with one part at a time and keep the remaining dough covered.
Roll the 1/4 of the dough into a log about 4-5 inches long and then cut that log into about 4-5 pieces (1 inch each).
Using a small rolling pin, roll each piece into a round thin shape. (As thin as the flour allows before ripping) Cut the piece into a perfect circle using a cup or cookie cutter.
Take the remainder of the dough and add to the next 1-inch dough piece.
Place the perfect circle piece on a plate and cover it with a towel.
Repeat until you are out of dough!
